SIKIT: Strengthening Autonomy in the Implementation of AI Technologies in Medicine

An interdisciplinary research project aimed at the systematic development, evaluation, and implementation of clinical AI applications in the context of patient-related care scenarios. The focus is on testing trustworthy, data protection-compliant, and comprehensible AI models to support diagnostic, documentary, and therapeutic processes. The AI applications developed are tested in several clinical pilot projects to systematically evaluate their practical relevance, integration capability, and transferability to other disciplines.
